I listen and support people who want to discuss any kind of problem or weakness with me. I believe in returning goodness to society therefore I wish to serve people. Especially those who need someone to look after them.
Professional Experience
Saint Maria Hospital
Volunteer
(Apr 2012 to Present) 12 Years & 8 Months

I worked in the general ward where patients of all ages used to wait for me anxiously.

I listened to each of them with interest and talked to them about their interests.

I read newspapers to the patients, told them jokes and even sang when they were happy. It was my duty to keep all the patients happy and optimistic.

Shelter for Homeless London
Volunteer
(Feb 2010 to Feb 2012) 2 Years

I visited the shelter and was responsible for preparing dinner for almost 100 people daily.

The food was then served to each person and often we sat together at tables and talked about life and how to maintain health.

I also voluntered to help the weekly yoga and meditation classes at the shelter.

London Cancer Hospital
Volunteer
(Apr 2008 to Jan 2010) 1 Year & 9 Months

I looked after the patients who went through depression. I took them for walks and even took them around the hospital lawns to make them feel better. I used to read the Bible to some patients and recorded sermons for them.
