Develop anesthesia plans under supervision of Anesthesiologist.
On call duties assisting patients in crisis and scheduled medical/surgical situations.
Administered anesthesia to render patients insensible to pain during surgical, obstetrical and other medical procedures;
Examine patients to determine degree of surgical risk and type of anesthetic and sedation to administer.
Provide all techniques of anesthesia (including regional and various aspects of IV sedation) to ASA III, IV and V patients, often with multiorgan failure.
Participate in education of CRNA students and medical residents doing anesthesia rotations. Have experience managing QA monitoring of IV sedation and maintain departmental call schedule
Administer anesthesia before and during operations.
Observe patient responses to medication and make adjustments.
Follow-up with patients after operations to ensure no adverse effects persist.
